Dodge Avenger DIY on changing pads and rotors on 2008 Dodge Avenger

Hey, im looking for some help here on a 2008 Dodge Avenger changing pads and rotors. It's not my car but a friend of mine. Were looking for a DIY for changing pads and rotors or at least some step by step instructions.

@OP have you ever changed brakes on a car, it's all almost the same procedure .

Found a better quality video, the video's above are good too.

Its not the same on all cars. They're actually pretty different depending on the brake setup. Like if its 4 piston, 2 piston, 1 piston, drum brakes, etc..... The biggest difference is more dependent on what make the car is. For example most Japanese cars only need a 14mm wrench and 17mm wrench to change out the brakes and rotors while most German cars need 16mm wrench, allen keys, philips screwdriver and a few other tools to change out brakes and rotors.

I am trying to remove the rear rotor, but it is not coming off. Is there something special to take it off?

I never changed the rear brakes as yet but if your having trouble removing the rotor, there should be a screw with a hexagon end to it, and that you will have to get a allen key to remove.

What year is your avenger?
