While using spray tint cost over $40 for all the materials and shops will charge $80-$100 to do those to your head lights and tail lights. I guess this guy in the R8 couldn't afford tint film so he cheaped out by getting his tail lights spray tinted. Look at all that running and bubbling

It sure is funny.
Getting headlights/taillights spray tinted professionally is probably the best way to go (or doing it yourself if you can do it properly), which seems to be the route the R8 owner went.
Seems like you misread what i was saying since i mentioned "spray
paint" and not "spray
tint". Two different things
I never mentioned tint film or spray tint, but it's good you brought that up
It's just the dudes that cheap out and buy the $10/can black spray paint, painting the lights with no prep work, not finishing them properly after painting and leaving all the runs and bubbles.
Audi owner clearly didn't cheap out here.
